I write under the name Roland A. James — Roland reclaimed, James carried forward, the initial standing for alchemy. I'm a Métis author based in Calgary, with lineage connected to the Riel family, and I work as a poker dealer at Deerfoot Casino when I'm not at the desk.
The books are shadow work as it happens — not recollection after the fact, but the record of a mind rebuilding itself in real time. Nothing here is offered as a finished philosophy. It's a live account of the digging.
